Seattle Light rail
The light rail is Seattle’s local transit throughout the city. It currently runs from the Sea-Tac airport up to the University of Washington with a stop directly in Columbia City. The light rail is currently expanding to other areas such as Northgate, Mercer Island, and Bellevue allowing for even more connections.
PCC Market
PCC is a Seattle based food cooperative with over 58,000 members. Originally founded in 1953, PCC focuses on bringing its customers fresh local food while still being community driven, with sales going either back to the stores or into the community through classes, education, or charitable efforts.
Columbia city theater
Built in 1917, this wonderful theater is right in the middle of Columbia City. It hosts many unique events such as live music, burlesque, karaoke, local events, and more.
Columbia city farmers market
From May to October on every Wednesday, local farms bring their fresh produce for all to peruse. With the goal of providing direct access from farmers to customers, the columbia city farmers market is here to serve the entire neighborhood.
